Reduces drivetrain slop. Restores and maintains driveshaft alignment. Installs without removing or disassembling the driveshaft.
The stock center support bearing carrier holds the driveshaft in place with a thin layer of rubber. Great for keeping NVH out of the cabin — bad at keeping the bearing centered under load. It sags, ruins driveshaft alignment over time, and introduces slop during shifts and throttle application. The OEM bushing also goes brittle and dry rots, cracking in as little as 5-10 years even on well-kept cars.
This upgraded carrier holds the driveshaft firmly in place at all times. The stiffer bushing keeps the bearing from walking off-center, maintaining torque delivery and shaft alignment under load.
What customers report:
- More direct throttle response
- Firmer, more direct shifts
- More instantaneous launches
- Less vibration from driveshaft misalignment and rubber deterioration
- Smoother low-speed on/off throttle behavior
Fitment: R35 GT-R with OEM front driveshaft. Does not fit Driveshaft Shop (DSS) shafts.
Choose Street (softer, quieter) or Track (harder, louder) bushing stiffness above.
